Greatest Book You'll Ever Read: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix By Sawdah Chowdhury Kingsley Community School Year 6M

Book Review: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is about a boy called Harry Potter; he just found out that there is a secret Order (which means a group) that is trying to protect him from his arch enemy and the most evil wizard who ever lived – Lord Voldemort. At the end of the story, his fugitive godfather- who is being accused of being a mass murderer- Sirius Black, dies whilst trying to save Harry and his friends. They all thought Sirius was being tortured to death by Voldemort. Sirius was saving them along with the rest of the Order of the Phoenix.

My favourite character was Harry because he was heroic as he went to save Sirius even though he knew Voldemort could do anything; everyone was terrified of Voldemort so much that they even feared saying his name, as though it was a jinx, but Harry was hardly scared of anything. Also, he was reluctant to let his friends go with him as it was extremely dangerous and he did not want them to suffer because of him. In the end, when his friends got injured, he sacrificed the prophecy that connected him with Voldemort, which was very vital for him to hear and very important to make sure Voldemort didn’t get his hands on, just to get them all out of trouble.

My favourite part of the brilliant book was when Dumbledore, Harry’s school’s-Hogwarts- headmaster and the only person Voldemort was afraid of, and Harry were in a room fighting Voldemort himself because there was so much suspense and anyone could die at any moment. It was a really exciting part because they did so many unforgivable curses and killing spells and also because nobody believed that Voldemort had returned except for Harry and Dumbledore and now, everyone saw Voldemort with their own eyes.

In conclusion, I loved this book more than anything I’ve ever read and all people who like adventure and magic, and who aren’t scared of things like this, would absolutely LOVE this book.
